Defeat but not defeated!

Brittan tried out for Drill Team last week, a dream she has had for many years. As everyone knows by now she didn't make it, but what a gal, she is an amazing dancer, and is taking this loss hard but with a great attitude. She is motivated to work harder and keep dancing. We are proud of her efforts and love her desire to improve despite rejection. We appreciate everyone and their support of our kids. Brittan felt very loved and supported by many family and friends alike. She tasted defeat in a big time way for the first time in her 14 years, but she was not defeated. Her best is still yet to come!

Hey Britt - we did a thing at a corporate meeting recently where each member of our team answered various questions. These questions were designed to bring out interesting facts about people, boost our trust and spark some creativity. One of the questions was remarkable and brought out some impressive answers. The question was: "What was your best defeat?" Given some time, you will have a chance to use this experience to create an impressive answer to that question. Sometimes we have to lose to win!
