Arianne turned 9 years old on April 6 and celebrated with an excellent pink ice cream cake.

The run was not so awesome :( lots of stairs and mossy rocks and roots.

I still finished around 3 hours 26 minutes.

Defeat but not defeated!

Brittan tried out for Drill Team last week, a dream she has had for many years. As everyone knows by now she didn't make it, but what a gal, she is an amazing dancer, and is taking this loss hard but with a great attitude. She is motivated to work harder and keep dancing. We are proud of her efforts and love her desire to improve despite rejection. We appreciate everyone and their support of our kids. Brittan felt very loved and supported by many family and friends alike. She tasted defeat in a big time way for the first time in her 14 years, but she was not defeated. Her best is still yet to come!
